Request for Participation: Seeking 400 Culturally Diverse Male Respondents for Doctoral Research Study
Ms. Hendricks conducts research on emotional intelligence as part of her doctoral program at Wilmington University.
The purpose of this research is to learn about predictors of emotional intelligence and how they may influence the emotional abilities of mental health practitioners, but from a culturally diverse perspective.
Participants of this study are mental health practitioners working within a mental health setting from countries all over the world. Thus far, the data set includes responses from participants in Asia, Africa, the UK, Canada, and the United States.
However, as it stands, 77% of the respondents have been women and now male respondents are sought for this study.
Responding to this survey should not take more than 15 minutes; however, the current average time for completion is 7 minutes and 32 seconds.
Additionally, participants are not asked to disclose any identifying information. There are no known risks to completing this survey. The information provided is strictly confidential and 100% anonymous.
This study is in no way affiliated with any organization or mental health initiative. This study has been approved by the Human Research Study Committee (HRSC) of Wilmington University .
The requestor values your perceptions and sincerely hopes that you will take a few minutes to help her better understand the predictors of emotional intelligence for professionals who engage in emotional labor work by completing the survey and forwarding it to other mental health practitioners. Findings may support the development of future tools for training and education in this area.
